PLAY OUTLINE


                           

                                            WITH A LITTLE HELP OF MY FRIENDS

                                                                       LEVEL  4

SYNOPSIS
In spite of being a brilliant student,  Leo  has failed recent exams ,  is frequently absent and    when  he attends classes,  which lately  has happened rather rarely, he falls asleep.  After discussing the problem,  Leo´s  friends  investigate the case in order to help him.  They discover that Leo has to wake up early in the morning   to deliver  Priegola  products.  They   tell the form teacher   what they found out.  The teacher   decides to do his utmost to  get  the scholarship for Leo.

 CHARACTERS
Leo  - the 4 year secondary school student 
Students -  Leo´s classmates
Hannah,  Martin,  Rob    Leo´s close friends
Mr. Crow – the secondary school principal
Ms. Butterfly – the school psychologist
Martha -  the  4 year group form teacher
ACT I
Scene 1
The   principal´s office.  The principle, the psychologist and the form teacher  are having a meeting. They discuss  Leo´s case.
ACT II

Scene 1
The  classroom.  Tutorial   class.  Martha tries to engage students in solving Leo´s case.

Scene 2
Playground.  Hannah, Martin and Rob are worried about his friend who doesn´t   answer their  calls. They decide to spy on him to learn about his new routines.

ACT I
Scene 1
Dawn.  Hannah, Martin and Rob are behind  the  bushes  observing  Leo´s house.   Priegola   van drives up and Leo, yawning,  goes out of  the house.  He starts delivering milk in the neighbourhood.

ACT IV
Scene 1
Principal´s     office.  Hannah, Martin and Rob inform   Mr. Crow, Ms.  Butterfly   and their form teacher  about their finding.  Afterwards they leave the office.

Scene 2
Principal´s      office.  The principle, the psychologist and   Martha   decide to encourage Leo to apply for a scholarship.  They are   optimistic   and determined to do their best  to make  the plan come out well.

Tamara: I like it very much and it is very useful to do it with students to make them aware of the importance of comradeship. I have even used it for my play. Thank you for sharing with everybody!
